Management Program

 NEW DATES!  Mark your calendar!!

January 28 & February 25, 2012
$20.00  per TEAM
Ø Pre-registration available or must be registered by 8:00 a.m. at clubhouse.

Ø Dogs are optional. Rabbit must be wild cottontail shot and
field dressed that day and with the breastbone and pelvic
split.

Ø Must be back at the Clubhouse by 5:30p.m. for weigh~in.

Ø 6 Heaviest rabbits win.

Ø Hunt wherever you have Permission.

Ø Biggest and smallest rabbit contest-smallest rabbit does not have to  be one of your 6 rabbits.

Ø Brookfield Conservation Club is not in any way responsible
 for accidents or mishaps, no matter what !!!!!

It Is that time a year again for the Trumbull County Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs for their 60+ gun raffle, which will be held on May 5, 2012 a Yankee Lake ballroom.
See any club member for the Clubs raffle ticket and the 60 gun raffle ticket. You can't win if you don't get a raffle ticket

Pre registration only.  No registrations will be accepted after the start date.

60% Pay back.  Prizes will be for the heaviest and second heaviest coyote and the most coyotes. The hunt starts at 12:01AM on 5 February. Last check-in time is 5 PM on 11 February.

The Lake Park Raiders will have a Indoor Cowboy Action Shoot Saturday Jan. 14, 2012 at the Western Reserve Club 1053 W. Third Street Niles, OH.  The weather inside is shirt sleeve and the coffee is hot.  Registration is at 9 AM shooting starts at 10 AM.  You will need 50 rounds each of rifle and pistol.  The club will provide 12 & 20 ga. shotshells.  No gun carts are needed unless needed  to load.
 

The match is for Rifle and Pistol and Shotgun.

 DO NOT bring shotgun ammo.
   Shells will be provided for 12 and 20 gauge.Please use only approved Cowboy loads, low velocity and lead bullets for rifle and pistol.

Match Fee:    $10.00

The address at the Western Reserve club is 1058 West 3rd. Street, Niles.  Going South on SR 46 through Niles, over the bridge and the second street (1st street with a working traffic signal) is Third.  Turn right continue past the Lake Park sign, club is on the right.  Coming from I-80, go north on SR 46,  after the under-pass (4 miles) the first traffic signal is 3rd. Street, turn left.

   There's something for everyone to do at our club. From Archery to a slow walk Zigzagging through the more then 160 acre of woods, fish in are pond that has blue gill, crappie, small mouth bass and some catfish over 8lb. There's three rifle ranges,25yd.,100yd. and a 200yd. where you can zero in you hunting rifle or bring out your 22 and just do some fun target shooting. For all you who love archery there's targets set up along the back trails for shooting Hunting Style. Go to the Archery page for more information. We have a Black Powder shoot once a month on Sunday, check out the  Black Powder page. From September till April on Tuesday nights the club holds it's turkey shoots.

   Every May we have a Kids Fishing Derby open to all for kids to the age of 16. There's pictures on the kids page...check them out. Also for the kids we have a annual Youth Pheasant Hunt on the clubs grounds every November, the club raises it's own pheasants each year and after the youth hunt releases the rest to the wild....
Our club offers Hunter Education classes twice a year. Check the Club news for the next date.
   During the summer months we offer trap shooting on Wednesday nights. For more information on that ...you guessed it ..click on the Trap button.
